Sam Cohen is a dedicated musician passionate about sharing his love for music with the world. With a focus on drums and composition, he offers professional guidance and recording sessions to elevate your musical projects. It is Sam's profound vision of being inspired the way he has been inspired over the years that drives him to spread this knowledge and expand others' musical horizons.
Starting drum lessons at the age of 12, Sam nurtured a close bond with the instrument and as he grew older and more experienced he began to play with orchestras and band to really grasp what it is like playing with others. After beginning his studies at JMC Academy he fell into several bands but found his footing with the Drive bys, an alternate rock band that included other students from JMC. Sam was able to truly understand the gigging world with that group.
As well as drums, Sam was able to discover another side of himself being called by that of composition. His interests being piqued by the world of sound and how music is related through different instruments and textures, most importantly, how music can tell a story and enrich the tale that is being told.
